How do I book a PG through StayMate?
Search by area, budget and gender preference, open a listing you like and tap the WhatsApp enquiry button to talk directly with the owner. Once you visit and finalise, the owner confirms your room from their dashboard.
Are the PG listings verified?
Every listing on StayMate goes through a verification check — we confirm the property photos, amenities and owner details before a PG goes live.
What is the typical deposit for a PG in Bangalore?
Most PGs charge one to two months of rent as a refundable security deposit. Each StayMate listing clearly shows the deposit amount upfront, so there are no surprises.
Do I pay any brokerage or platform fee?
There is no brokerage. Tenant membership is ₹99 once per account for lifetime access across PG changes. Membership is currently test-only; no real payments are collected.
I own a PG. How do I list it?
Tap 'List Your PG', create an owner account, add your property details, photos and room types. Your listing goes live after a quick verification.
Is my personal data safe with StayMate?
Yes. Tenant details are visible only to the respective owner, and we never collect sensitive documents like Aadhaar in this prototype. Read our privacy policy for details.
